Through our commitment to promoting the use of digital technologies in schools, we aim to maximize our effectiveness by developing projects and partnerships in disadvantaged townships schools across Gauteng and other Provinces. With evolution of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), preparing South African children in Technology isa necessity. Our mission is to create an environment where quality IT education is available for everyone, this means that children from poor or disadvantaged communities shouldn’t be excluded from the technology,

In comparison to private schools (former model C schools), township schools are facing the reality of having almost no computers and Information Technology (IT) at their disposal. The general knowledge of IT in a township schools is very weak. The IT knowledge is very limited and learners are facing the consequences. These days knowledge of IT is essential to acquire a job or study at Universities and Colleges. It is sad, that due to the limited access to IT, some learners have to suffer and stand behind their peers from Private Schools. The inequality in the labor market is then a fact. To increase knowledge we have set up Every Child Computer Literate Mission project.

The hardships and difficult circumstances under which children are living is causing many not to reach their dreams. People in the township are seldom living under R1 per day as a result of unemployment. Consequently, they are facing every day challenges such as hunger, substance abuse and crime. As a result children don’t get the full attention they need to succeed in their academic performance. Class rooms with over 50 children, the lack of resources in schools, dealing with social and educational problems and hunger are often also contributing to dropouts. A life on the street is for many the only way to survive in life.

In this project our mission is to develop the Computer Labs fitted with latest Laptops and Desktops with Installed softwares that are helpful and informative to pupils. In a case where the Computer lab exists in those particular schools, we help in tackling the problems around maintaining those computer-labs and the setup of IT infrastructures to ensure that they are up to standard, with right resources like 4thIndustrial Revolution software.
By working with township schools and other related Stake holders, our scope includes but not limited to:
